Factoid
The Dolphins enter the postseason with one of the most unusual offenses the NFL has seen in recent years. Not only did they popularize the “Wildcat” formations that popped up around the league this year, they also have an unorthodox passing game. Miami’s wide receivers caught only 5 of the 20’s TD passes this year.
We track touchdown breakdowns, and we can say that since 1990, only five other teams have had their wide receivers account for less than 30 percent of their team’s TD catches.
WR Tot Pct. Team (year)

5 17 29.4 Philadelphia (2003)
2 12 16.7 N.Y. Giants (2004)
