Patriots favored to win next Super Bowl

Posted Feb. 22 at 03:41 AM

The Patriots and Cowboys are the early favorites for next year's Super Bowl.

That's the way the oddsmakers expect the money to flow right now, at least.

Below, see the big board, as compiled by theNational Sports Advisors website. They've got New England and Dallas in the top 2 spots, followed by the Giants, Steelers, Colts and Chargers.

I'm surprised that the Cowboys, trying to work through some personnel issues (is Terrell Owens even going to be with that team?) and having traded away their first-round pick for Roy Williams have been tabbed as the NFC front-runner. No way, in my opinion, do you put them ahead of the Giants.

Detroit and Kansas City, both listed as 100-to-1 shots, bring up the rear, followed by the two former Los Angeles teams - Rams and Raiders - at 75 to 1.
