Around the NFL
The new guys running the Browns have made their first major move, and it doesn't involve Shaun Rogers.
They've traded Kellen Winslow to the Buccaneers for draft picks.
Winslow is a good receiving tight end, but he's not much of a blocker and has had a lot of injuries and off-field problems. He also wanted a new contract.
Too early to say whether Winslow will make much of an impact with Tampa Bay. They're completing rebuilding their team down there. The nucleus of the past few years -- Garcia, Galloway, Hilliard, Dunn, Brooks -- is all gone.
"The Cleveland Browns thank Kellen for his contributions to this organization over the past five years," said new Cleveland GM George Kokinis. "We appreciate his passion for the game and wish him success in Tampa Bay.
