Donte Stallworth hit and killed a pedesterian in a car accident in Florida this morning, according to reports.
The accident occurred at 7 am this morning. It is not clear yet whether Stallworth was at fault or whether he'll be charged, according to a story by Associated Press.
How Stallworth fits into Cleveland's plans remains to be seen. They signed him to a big free agent deal last year, but he went on to have a lousy year. Stallworth received a $4.75 million bonus on Friday, but that money likely was guaranteed. If the Browns had the choice, they likely would have released Stallworth -- he's not worth that kind of money.

I love the part when the AP identifies the poor guy, then mere words later says that he is unidentified. AP sucks.

For posterity, once they change it and pretend they didn't.pStallworth was headed toward the beach when he hit Mario Reyes, 59, around 7 a.m., said Miami Beach police spokesman Juan Sanchez. The unidentified pedestrian was taken to a nearby trauma center, where he was pronounced dead about an hour later. Reyes was near a crosswalk but it's not clear if he was crossing legally.
