Philly uses everyone in red zone

Posted Jul. 16 at 02:59 AM

Playing around with some numbers on the Eagles, I notice that last year, they had 15 different players catch passes inside the red zone. That tied with the Saints for the most in the league.

There is no true “go-to” receiver on those teams – the touchdowns tend to get spread around.

Below are the numbers for all 32 teams. The Packers also tended to use a lot of players in the red zone area. The Vikings and Panthers were at the opposite end of the spectrum, with their passes concentrated into the hands of just six pass catchers.
