Around the NFL
That was fast -- and it wasn't even to one of the teams most widely rumored to be interested in him. Jay Cutler is gone to Chicago, for Kyle Orton and first-round picks in 2009 and 2010, plus a third-rounder. Denver will send a fifth-rounder back to the Bears.
Read ESPN's story about it right here.
At a glance, it's hard to imagine a less attractive spot for those of us who own Cutler in a dynasty league. Thin on talent at wide receiver. The Bears have no real idea who their offensive tackles will be -- they might have one of the league's worst offensive lines. At least he's got Matt Forte to run the ball and bail him out as a pass catcher.
And Brandon Marshall and Eddie Royal now have Orton throwing to them instead of Cutler. Ugly.

Talk about a bad day. I'm not only a Viking fan that knows we have to face Cutler twice a year, but he's my Dynasty QB. Not to mention I also have Eddie Royal who now has Orton throwing to him.

I see now that the Bears are going to sign Orlando Pace. In the short term, that should help one of those tackle spots.
