Marshawn Lynch will be suspended for the first three games of the season, according to Michael Smith of ESPN.

Lynch could still appeal the decision -- maybe he knocks it down to two games. But looks like he's going to miss a chunk of the season.
The Bills have a capable backup -- Fred Jackson -- but Jackson is currently staying away from the team. He's upset with his contractual situation. Buffalo needs to get Jackson in and ready to roll; if he's on his game, the team should be able to weather the storm while Lynch is away.
