Around the NFL
Kellen Winslow appeared on the NFL's radio station (part of the Sirius band) on Thursday and says he'd like to see Brady Quinn get the nod at quarterback for the Browns.
"This guy is coming in, he has worked his tail off," says Winslow, who's now with the Buccaneers. "I bet you he is there working out right now. Just give him a chance. He is a leader, he is coming into his own. I really don’t get what’s the hard decision up there. My choice would be Brady Quinn.”
Winslow also says he expects Braylon Edwards will be traded before opening day.
A blurb on Winslow's appearance appears in the Dayton Daily News.
