Kansas City has agreed to trade Tony Gonzalez to Atlanta, says Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com.
According to the Glazer report, the deal is for a second-round pick. Not, however, a second-rounder in this weekend's draft but in 2010.

Both of these teams are now being run by former Patriots -- Thomas Dimitroff for the Falcons, and Scott Pioli for Kansas City.
Atlanta has had a solid pass-catching tight end in the past, of course, with Alge Crumpler putting together three straight seasons of at least 774 yards and 5 TDs from 2004 to 2006. Not last year: Justin Peelle led the team with 15 catches for 159 yards and 2 TDs. Those numbers are slightly better than Gonzalez' best game last season: 10 catches for 113 yards, which he did on two occasions (with 3 TDs in those two games). Nice new weapon for Matt Ryan.
