Around the NFL
I think you can put LenDale White at the top of the "contract year" player list. He's entering the final year of his deal, and he's definitely interested in cashing in at the end of the season.
Per a report in Nashville's The City Paper, White is in the best condition of his career. He's down at 238 pounds, and has an eye on making a big splash this year.
"We all think about it; I’m sure y’all think about getting a raise," White said yesterday. "I want to be that guy. I want to get money. I don’t play this game for free,” White said. “I’d definitely like to be a high-paid guy. But my whole intention wasn’t to come in this year saying, ‘This is my contract year. I have to get better.’ I want to be a Tennessee Titan. This is where I want to be for the rest of my career. This is what I want to do.”
Sounds to me like you can pencil in White for another 10-12 TDs. He'll split time with Chris Johnson, but he should be effective.

Awesome... 7 "I" or "me" references, and 2 team references. I like where his heart is.
