Tony Kornheiser is out and Jon Gruden is in, for the Monday Night Football broadcasts this year.
Kornheiser says he's retiring after three seasons because of his fear of flying. If he was actually, in fact, forced out, it's not apparent yet.
Mike Tirico and Ron Jaworski will return to the broadcast, with ESPN going with a three-man booth.
"To join Mike and Jaws in the booth and to work alongside this top-notch team is going to be a real thrill," Gruden said.

Somewhere, 49ers running back Al Gore is smiling, because you just had your own Gumbel moment. It's BRYANT Gumbel.
