Factoid
A couple of backs who put up big numbers last year β DeAngelo Williams and Michael Turner β will have to deal with much harder schedules this year.
If you plug in the numbers for strength of schedule for each team, except use rushing yards and rushing touchdowns, than Atlanta and Carolina project to have the hardest two schedules ths year. That potentially could make it harder for Carolina to again score 30 rushing touchdowns, and it will make it more difficult for Michael Turner to duplicate the kind of production he put up in his first year in Atlanta.
Notable running backs with seemingly easy schedules against the run include Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis and LaDainian Tomlinson.
