Authorities are calling the shooting deaths of Steve McNair and a woman he was with Saturday night an apparent murder-suicide, according to the Nashville Tennessean.
McNair had reportedly been dating the woman, who worked at an area restaurant, for the past few months. McNair finished his career with the Baltimore Ravens, but was best known as the former Titans quarterback and was very popular in the Nashville community.
The story, which can be read right here, says McNair was shot multiple times, and a gun was found near the body of the woman, who was shot a single time in the head. It adds that police were not actively looking for suspects although they hadn't ruled out any possibilities.
