When the Ravens signed L.J. Smith in the offseason -- at a position where they already have Todd Heap -- I didn't find it all that interesting.
Both of these guys have had a couple of decent seasons in the past, but Baltimore hardly threw to its tight ends last season. Plus, Heap and Smith have been about the league's two most injury-plagued players at that position anyway.
No surprise, therefore, to see at the team's official web site that both Heap and Smith have missed most of the team's offseason workouts because of injuries.
I really don't see either of those guys being a significant fantasy player.
