Betts may spell Portis

Ryan O'Halloran of The Washington Times thinks Washington should use Ladell Betts more often to keep Clinton Portis fresh.

O'Halloran previews the team's running backs situation in today's paper. He says he doesn't think Portis and Jim Zorn will have a problem getting along.

O'Halloran also points out that Portis' per-carry average dropped from 5.0 to 3.5 in the second half of the season. But it's standard fare. The article doesn't really break any new ground. If you want to pick through it, click here.
