Around the NFL
Terrell Owens was back on the practice field and looked to be moving around fine on his sprained toe. Fred Jackson, however, aggravated a wrist/thumb injury and it won't be clear until later today how serious it is.
Watching this video at the team's website, there isn't much doubt that Owens, whether he plays in the remaining preseason games or not, will be on the field when the games count.
Jackson, however, was in obvious pain leaving the practice field, with his wrist heavily taped. The Bills are counting on Jackson to start the first three weeks of the season with Marshawn Lynch suspended. The team should know more by this afternoon, but if you're in an active league and are counting on either player, and Dominic Rhodes is available, it makes sense to pick him up -- maybe he'll be the Bills' week 1 starter.
