Let the hyping begin

Posted Sep. 05 at 03:41 AM

Looking at the schedule, I notice that both Green Bay and Minnesota play easy schedules early.

Minnesota opens at Cleveland and Detroit, then hosts the 49ers.

Green Bay opens at home against Chicago and Cincinnati, then has a road game at St. Louis.

Assuming the Packers can hold serve at home against the Bears -- and I think they can -- than both Green Bay and Minnesota should be undefeated heading into that Monday night matchup in week 4.

Favre against Packers. Two of the last undefeated teams. ESPN might bust some ratings records with that game.

While you're at it how about letting the grammar/spell check begin. "...THAN both Green Bay and Minnesota"? Thought I was on a message board for a second.
