Sean Payton is indicating that he expects Pierre Thomas (knee) will be able to play this week. Thomas, Mike Bell, Reggie Bush -- could make for a crowded backfield for the Saints.
“We feel that Pierre brings certain elements to our running game and yet, Mike Bell has done a good job,” Payton says. “It’s a good problem to have; we have some depth and each week, we’ll evaluate what the plan is.”
