Around the NFL
Reggie Brown might have some ability. If he could get on a receiver-hungry roster, he might emerge as a No. 3 guy.
But Brown is stuck in Philadelphia, where he probably won't be active for a game all year.
Philadelphia Daily News columnistPaul Domowitch explains this odd situation in an article today.
Basically, because the Eagles signed Brown to a large contract extension early in his career, they can't afford to simply release him. So any fantasy leaguers hanging onto Brown in hopes that he'll develop into something for some other team can forget it.
It's sad. It's bad for the team, and even worse for the player.
