Is it time for the Bills to dump running back Marshawn Lynch? A columnist for The Buffalo News thinks so.
Jerry Sullivan writes today that the time has come for Buffalo to unload Lynch. Fred Jackson has been more effective, ran for over 1,000 yards this season, and doesn't come with the off-field baggage.
"Lynch might be guilty of nothing worse than being a jerk and adding another chapter to his legend of boorish behavior at Western New York bars," Sullivan writes. "But I know this: It's always something with Lynch. This is ... an athlete whose behavior has gone over the line time and again."
The Bills selected Lynch in the first round of the 2007 draft. He went over 1,000 rushing yards in both 2007 and 2008.
