Around the NFL
Reuben Frank covers the Eagles for the Burlington County Times. And Frank believes that neither Donovan McNabb nor Brian Westbrook will be back with the team in 2010.
Kevin Kolb should be the starter next year, writes Frank in a column overviewing the team.
"Don't take Andy Reid at face value when he says McNabb will return," Frank writes. "There's a reason McNabb is not signed beyond 2010. He wants his deal extended. The Eagles have shown no inclination to do so."
Frank believe the Eagles will release Westbrook and make LeSean McCoy their primary runner.
"The sad truth is the Eagles were 7-1 this year when Westbrook didn't play and 4-5 when he did," he writes.
