Around the NFL
The Philadelphia Eagles have said they're preparing to go into next season with all three of the quarterbacks currently on the roster. But they're not fooling anyone. There's a good chance that one or two of those passers will be dealt in the next month.
According to a story in The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles have fielded queries from multiple teams regarding their quarterbacks: Donovan McNabb, Kevin Kolb, Michael Vick. If the Eagles decide to deal one or more of them, which they likely already have, they'll find suitors for them.
Michael Vick to St. Louis is the hottest rumor; Steve Spagnuolo spoke favorably of Vick (without acknowledging an interest) last week. There's little chance the team will bring Vick back unless they elect to deal McNabb. Andy Reid says McNabb is his starter next season, but Kolb is the player who appears to have more of a long-term future, so a McNabb deal can't be ruled out, either.
For now, according to the Inquirer, "nothing is close" to getting done. Still, it should get interesting in Philadelphia leading up to the start of the free agency period on March 5.
