Last week we ran a Factoid showing the most turnovers per pass attempt in 2009. The four quarterbacks atop that list were rookies Josh Freeman, Mark Sanchez and Matthew Stafford....and veteran Jake Delhomme.
Three of those quarterbacks will be week 1 starters for their teams next year. The fourth has entered the journeyman backup stage of his career, after the Panthers released Delhomme yesterday.
Carolina will go with Matt Moore, a restricted free agent it tendered at the highest level, as its starter next year. Delhomme will draw some interest on the free-agent market, but after the way he flopped last season with the Panthers, it won't be as a starter.
