Around the NFL
LaDainian Tomlinson has made his decision. He's going with the Jets over the Vikings.
Jason La Canfora of NFL.com is reporting that Tomlinson agreed to a two-year contract.
Tomlinson is expected to serve as a change-of-pace role. He also might play on third downs. The Jets also have Leon Washington, but he's coming off a broken leg.
Looks like a good choice for Tomlinson. He's more likely to get a significant number of touches with New York. And if Shonn Greene underachieves or gets hurt, Tomlinson could be productive behind New York's crushing offensive line. The Jets led the league in rushing last season.
