Does anybody want Shayne Graham?

Posted Apr. 12 at 06:37 AM

Free agency is dragging on, and still no home for Shayne Graham. I’m surprised that no team has yet signed him to a deal.

Graham isn’t the greatest kicker in the world, but he’s accurate. Only five have hit a better percentage of field goals over the last five years. And Graham is only 32, which is very good age for a kicker (the young ones tend to be erratic, while the old ones start losing range).

Plenty of teams out there still need a kicker. Ravens, Cowboys, Jets, Falcons, Bengals and Falcons are all solid playoff contenders, and he might help any of those teams.
