Around the NFL
Terrell Owens not only will have a job by the start of NFL training camps, he'll have his choice from among multiple teams. That's according to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, anyway.
There's a tendency to doubt Rosenhaus, but that was the case a year ago, when he said Owens would sign shortly after Dallas released him. At the time there was skepticism, but Owens landed with Buffalo a few days later. Now Rosenhaus says he's talked about Owens with five teams, including one that has "aggressively entered the picture."
Rosenhaus appeared on ESPN's NFL Live show; the Baltimore Sun picked up the story, likely because Rosenhaus specifically mentioned that the Ravens were not one of the teams.
The Patriots, Washington and the Seahawks are among the teams that have been mentioned in rumors, with Washington seeming like perhaps the most likely fit -- they're collecting veterans, and the idea of a McNabb-Owens reunion is too appealing to discount.
With training camps opening just a week or so from now, whatever happens with Owens will probably happen soon.
