TONIGHT: Ian to appear with John Clayton at 710ESPN Seattle "Fantasy Football Camp"
Posted Aug. 26 at 05:06 AM
Fantasy Index publisher Ian Allan will appear at Fantasy Football Camp With John Clayton tonight at the Emerald Queen Casino in Tacoma, Washington. The bulk of the two-hour session should be in a question-and-answer format; doors open at 6:30 pm, and the event runs from 7 until 9 pm.
The cost is $50, which includes dinner and a bag of football-related goodies (including a copy of Fantasy Football Index magazine).
Expect about 150 people to attend. The hosts will pass the microphone around, and topics will bounce around from team-to-team and position-to-position.
Also attending will be the ESPN 710 radio personalities: Brock Huard and Kevin Calabro.
Ian enjoys meeting and speaking with readers, so come on out and say hello.

Updating. I don't want to oversell my involvement. It looks like I will play a smaller role this year. I just got the rough draft of the schedule e-mailed to me. I'm supposed to be on for the first 15-20 minutes. Then it will be Clayton and Brock Huard on for the rest of the show, with Kevin Calabro moderating.

Hey Ian, I know you guys are burning a lot of midnight oil these days, but I wonder if you've ever thought about trying to do something similar led by FFI. Your insight was awesome last year and I bet there are a lot of hard-core fantasy participants would would love to get together to hear you. Alan

I agree with Alan, I enjoyed your insight last year tremendously. As knowledgeable as Clayton is, he just doesn't "get" fantasy football AND I really don't want to drive all the way to Tacoma during rush hour. Seriously, some sort of forum where FFI readers could just interact with you would be great.
