Around the NFL
Vikings wideout Percy Harvin collapsed at practice today, and was taken away in an ambulance. As is well-known, Harvin suffers from migraine headaches believed to be behind the incident.
The story can be seen right here at the Minneapolis Star-Tribune website. Pretty scary, and worrisome for the Vikings, obviously.
When Harvin was away from the team recently, following his grandmother's funeral and then a reported bout of migraines, there was some speculation that perhaps he was making some kind of a statement, either about his contract or the fact that some other players weren't participating in training camp. This should put an end to that kind of talk; clearly it's an issue.
Brad Childress says it's the second time Harvin's migraines have landed him in the hospital.
