Receivers: Production in 2005-2007

Posted Jul. 06 at 03:33 AM

I've tossed out the quarterback and running back numbers the last few days, so I'll continue with the wide receivers.

The below chart shows the 64 wide receivers who've started at least half the time over the last three years. Of the 64, 23 were first-round draft picks (I've got those guys in bold. And the players are ordered on a per-game basis using the standard fantasy scoring system of 1 point for every 10 yards and 6 points for TDs.

Of the top 10 on this lists, six were drafted outside the first round. Owens and Steve Smith were third-round picks. Chad Johnson and Boldin were selected in the second round. And Colston and Houshmandzadeh each were selected in the seventh round.
