Around the NFL
DeAngelo Williams, a frustration already to those who drafted him, will apparently be doing those fantasy coaches a favor this week. As well as those who have held onto Jonathan Stewart.
According to Charlotte Observer beat reporter Darin Gantt, Williams didn't practice on Friday and is doubtful for Sunday's game. It's not clear if he'll be officially listed that way when the afternoon injury report comes out, but that's Gantt's take. Since Williams hadn't been doing much anyway, at least no one needs to debate starting him.
Williams' absence will also be a boon to Stewart, who should assume most of the carries. Mike Goodson would also play, but Stewart would likely be the workhorse.
St. Louis' defense isn't the pushover it was a year ago, but it still appears to be a favorable matchup for Stewart.

Glad I didn't cut Stewart, now it's time to show me something!
