Factoid
There’s been been more attrition than usual at the kicker position. Nate Kaeding has missed games, and now Stephen Gostkowski is hurt. The Saints switched away from Garrett Hartley, and now they’re back to him. Jason Hanson is hurt. And Lawrence Tynes missed a game.
But the position as a whole is as healthy as every. Accuracy and production is operating at near-record levels.
As we pass the halfway point of the season, kickers are on pace to average 111.1 points, the 2nd-most ever. And accuracy on field goals is at 81.4%, which would be No. 4 all-time.
