Terrell Owens is playing against Buffalo this week, while Roy Williams is playing against the Lions. That begs the question: Do players actually perform better in games against their former teams, or do we just notice it more when that kind of game occurs.
Below is a list of all (or most, anway -- a couple may have slipped through the cracks) current starting wide receivers who have started games against former teams. It shows how they did in that first meeting against the team they used to play for.

Interesting numbers---of the 17 players listed, 13 had at least 60 yards receiving, a td or both...avg of about 5 catches, 73 yards and .94 Tds a game...If in a pinch and need to choose between two guys, rolling with the guy playing for the first time against his old team seems like a decent risk...
