Around the NFL
The Giants and Vikings won't play a game today. The question is whether, and where, it will be played tomorrow.
The Metrodome roof collapsed this morning; officials say it's very unlikely the facility will be ready for a game to be played tomorrow night. No word yet on alternate sites, but possibilities will likely include the game being played somewhere else in the Minneapolis area, or at the Giants' home stadium.
The delay certainly makes it risky to use players coming off injury, including Steve Smith, Hakeem Nicks, and Brett Favre. It probably affects the values of healthy players, too, particularly if the game needs to be played at an outdoor site, where weather might be a factor.

Updating: the game will be played on Monday night at Ford Field. Who would have thunk, when Ford Field opened in 2002, that the first Monday night game wouldn't come until over eight years later -- and that the Lions wouldn't even be in it?
