Around the NFL
Maurice Jones-Drew hasn’t practiced all week because of a knee injury, and FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer says sources tell him that Jones-Drew has all but been ruled out of Sunday's game. MJD's backup, Rashad Jennings, looks like he will be very good – probably a top-5 back in most fantasy formats.
Jennings is fresh, and he’s an outstanding back. He averaged 5.2 yards per carry as a rookie, and he’s averaging 6.8 yards per attempt this year. He had the outstanding 74-yard touchdown two weeks ago against Oakland, and outside of that carry, he’s averaging 5.3 yards per carry.
As an added bonus, Jennings should contribute 20-30 yards as a pass catch. He caught 7 passes for 64 yards last week at Indianapolis.
Jennings, I’ve got a feeling, could help swing a bunch of fantasy championship games this week.
I’m in a title game myself this weekend and am mulling whether to plug in Jennings for Peyton Hillis or Chris Johnson. My gut tells me he’ll be better than both of those guys.
There’s a story on Jones-Drew being ruled out at NFL.com.

awesome. This makes my decision so much easier than having to choose between Felix Jones or Cedric Benson for my 2RB... haha!
