Eagles game postponed 'Til Tuesday

Posted Dec. 26 at 01:46 AM

Hope my voice will carry to those counting on playing Eagles and Vikings players, or holding them out. Multiple media outlets are reporting the NFL has moved the game from Sunday until Tuesday night.

With a blizzard hitting the Philadelphia area, the 48-hour delay reduces the chances of weather affecting the game, so players like David Akers should be OK. The delay should also benefit Adrian Peterson, who was questionable with various injuries, and maybe help Brett Favre (concussion) start over Joe Webb again (although that's just speculation).

If you're playing a fantasy Super Bowl this week, it might need to go into overtime, as in Wednesday morning, for the winner to be clear.

The game change makes it more likely that Favre, not Webb, will start at quarterback for Minnesota.

I trust you're a fan of Aimee Mann's solo work as well.

Bachelor No. 2 has some great songs on it.

As a Minnesotan, I can't understand why it takes them two days to clean up from a blizzard! Did the roof cave in? Do they have problems with shovels out East? Of course with the Viking luck they should probably evacuate the city... When the Vikes come around something cataclysmic is bound to happen!
