It wasn't necessarily big news at the time, but it sounds like the Ravens' decision to fire quarterbacks coach Jim Zorn could have some repercussions this offseason, if not into next season. Joe Flacco, apparently, isn't happy about it.
According to a story in the Baltimore Sun, the team wasn't happy with Zorn's teaching methods. The Ravens themselves deny that was the reason for his firing, although they declined to explain the move further than that.
According to beat writer Aaron Wilson, who covers the team for the Carroll County Times, Flacco is angry about Zorn's departure. "I'm not happy about it and they know I'm not happy about it," he said. "I don't think it was a good decision." Wilson's report can be found via Twitter.
Next season is a long way off, but it's not a great start to the offseason in Baltimore.
