I think Eric Mangini is trying to move past Bill Belichick and become known as the most paranoid coach in the league.
The Jets, since Mangini took over, have become the only NFL team that does not print the date of birth for each player in its media guide. Not in the individual capsules, and not at the overall team roster.
In addition, the date-of-birth info that the Jets (presumably) sent to the league last year for the NFL Record & Fact Book, is all fouled up. In that book, date of births appear for each player, but most or all of them are wrong.
