Once in a Lifetime: 2011's Schedule

Strength of Schedule - thus far

The difficulty of schedule teams have faced so far this season. In the words of the Talking Heads, And you may ask yourself / Well, how did I get here? For New Orleans, division leader and owner of one of the league's best records, it's simple -- they've played the softest opponents so far this season. Tied for the second-easiest schedule are Arizona and Tennessee, however, who've had to fight hard to achieve mediocrity. The hardest schedule belongs to Minnesota, who together with St. Louis (with the third-hardest) at least have a shot at winning the Andrew Luck Bowl. Pittsburgh, however, despite the second toughest schedule, currently shares the division lead in the AFC North. The figures don't include the teams' current win-loss records for the most accurate representation of how each team's opponents have fared against other teams.

Seminal band, and somehow, overrated in history.

I meant to say "somehow, *underrated* in history." Love all things Byrne.

OK, now please review with us how THIS strength of schedule compares to that anticipated before the season. That will go a long way toward telling how much we should consider strength of schedule in pre-season drafts.
