Alex Henery and Dan Bailey had outstanding seasons last year. They’re both rookie kickers, and they both converted over 86 percent of their field goal attempts last year.
That puts them in the top 4, accuracy-wise, among rookie kickers in the last 20 years.
This is not a guarantee of future success, of course. The number one guy on this list (Richie Cunningham) turned into more of a Potsie Weber later in his career.
But Henery and Bailey are off to good starts.
