Steelers: shutdown defense

The Steelers and 49ers provided nice value to fantasy owners last year, in leagues where defenses get bonuses for shutting down opposing offenses. In typical formats, most defenses averaged about 1-2 points (solely for allowing few points); Pittsburgh and San Francisco were up close to 3 points per game.

The chart below is based on defenses receiving 10 points for shutouts, 7 points for under 7 points, 4 points for 7-13 points and 1 point for under 20 points.

Steelers the best again? Shocker. Nobody does it on the defensive side of the ball like the Pittsburgh Steelers. Here we go..
