Offensive coordinator Bruce Arians indicates that the Steelers were thrilled to get Rashard Mendenhall with the 23rd pick of the draft, and that he’ll experiment with using Mendenhall and Willie Parker together in the same backfield at time.
Mendenhall, Arians says, looks like "a bigger, faster Edgerrin James". The Illinois runner is the main reason that many are grading Pittsburgh’s draft for 2008 as one of the best in the league.
