Factoid
In the last 10 years, 19 running backs have gone over 300 points (fantasy points) in a season. It’s happened only once in each of the last three years.
Only four active players, in fact, have gone over the 300-point mark in their careers. Arian Foster, Ray Rice, Chris Johnson and Steven Jackson. All of those guys should be starters on opening day, and Foster and Rice should be top-3 picks in most fantasy leagues.
Johnson is more likely to be selected in the top 10 or 15, while Jackson is just trying to hang on. He’s taken a beating during his career.
