Factoid
The Seahawks are rolling the dice on Terrell Owens. (Well, sort of – he’s signed to a one-year deal at the league minimum, and they can cut him at any time.)
Owens’ age suggests he won’t make a big impact. He’s 38. And while he supposedly ran a 4.45 for the team on Monday and takes good care of himself, it’s unusual for a receiver to be productive at that age.
In the last 30 years, only three receivers over the age of 34 have gone for 1,000 yards in a season. Jerry Rice did it as a 39-year-old with the Raiders. The only other two are Tim Brown and Drew Hill, who both did it at the age of 35.

Safe to say, though, that Seattle is a lot more worried about Sidney Rice's health than they're letting on?
