The odds seemed stacked against the Cowboys tonight. It’s not easy opening against the Super Bowl champs, especially on the road on a national stage.
Since the NFL began the tradition of having the defending champion open at home in prime time, the Super Bowl champs are 8-0 in those games.
Half of the games, at least, have been close.
