Injury run down for Monday night teams

Posted Sep. 08 at 04:53 PM

No big surprises on the Saturday injury report. (As a reminder, teams playing on Monday don’t make their player designations on Friday, since they’re a day behind in their practice schedule.)

Here are the notable ones, fantasy wise:

Cincinnati:
Bernard Scott (hand) is doubtful. He won’t play. Didn’t practice all week.

Andy Dalton (right biceps) and Jermaine Gresham (knee) both practiced fully all week and are probable. These guys are fine.

Baltimore:
No important injuries.

San Diego:
LT Jared Gaither (back) and Ryan Mathews (collarbone) are both out. That’s as expected. Mathews was limited in practice all week, so he might get on the field in Week 2.

Oakland:
Jacoby Ford (foot) is out.

Denarius Moore (hamstring) is questionable. He was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday. With Moore being gimpy, we think there’s a good chance Rod Streater will start in this game. If Streater starts, he should be a good possession receiver. He caught a lot of balls in the preseason and had a good rapport with Carson Palmer, catching the vast majority of balls thrown his way – kind of their version of Kevin Ogletree.

Also questionable: G Cooper Carlisle (back) and DT Richard Seymour (knee). Those guys are starters. And WR Juron Criner (ankle), who likely would be their No. 3 receiver if Moore sits out.

Probable: Janikowski (groin), TE Brandon Myers (shoulder) and OL Stefan Wisniewski (calf). Myers and Wisniewski are starters. We already worked Janikowski’s injury into our player ratings.
