Greg Jennings injury / fantasy impact

Posted Sep. 12 at 09:47 PM

The Packers have listed Greg Jennings (groin) as doubtful. At this point, it looks safe to rule him out.

In the Wednesday version of the rankings, we had all of Green Bay's receivers double listed -- with one listing showing how they ranked on Wednesday morning, and the other showing how they would rank if Jennings was scratched.

With Jennings now pretty much out, we've cleaned up those rankings in the stat download. This Jennings injury significantly helps James Jones and Randall Cobb. It also should help Donald Driver get on the field some (he should be their No. 4 receiver). We don't see it having a big impact on Jordy Nelson or Jermichael Finley (or on Aaron Rodgers).

Anyway, the rankings have been updated. We cleaned up the Jennings situation and addressed some other stuff. Other injured players have been revised, and some of the defensive numbers have been tweaked.

The complete revision for the other 30 teams will be posted on Friday afternoon.

To access these current, revised rankings, you can either get them via the Excel stat download, or with the "Custom Cheat Sheet" feature. They are not reflected on the pdf file (that will be updated on Friday).
