Reggie Bush had two touchdown runs over 20 yards on Sunday against Oakland. That’s impressive, and it’s rare.
All of last year, only nine running backs had 2 TD runs over 20 yards all season. As good as backs are nowadays, it’s simply very tough for running backs to score touchdowns from longer range (half of all rushing touchdowns are scored from 1-2 yards).
Bush was one of those backs to score 2 TDs from long range last year, including a 76-yarder at Buffalo.
