Factoid
Jamaal Charles joined some elite company on Sunday when he ran for 233 against the Saints. It’s rare to see a back put up that many yards, and it’s even harder to do it twice.
Charles, recall, had a game with 259 yards against Denver two years ago.
Only two other backs since the 1970 merger have gone over 230 yards twice – O.J. Simpson and Corey Dillon. (If you want to dip back and included the ‘50s and ‘60s then you can throw Jim Brown in there also – he did it three times.)
Simpson is the all-time leader in 200-yard games, with six.
