Your turn, Arian Foster

Posted Sep. 26 at 07:00 AM

Last week, my comeback to respectability began. I scored in the 140s, backed by my faith in Maurice Jones-Drew, and have climbed into the 300s in this 1000-person competition. Imagine if my hunch selection of Jamaal Charles had come last week rather than in Week 2.

I'm feeling pretty good about things now, and expect to keep things rolling this week. Here we go.

Quarterbacks: Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. Not crazy about taking quarterbacks playing in the same game, but this has all the appearance of a 40-30, back and forth kind of affair. Matt Ryan and Peyton Manning are two other guys I'll consider.

Running Backs: Arian Foster and Darren McFadden. I think this is the first time I've used Foster. The matchup is choice. I considered Ray Rice, but love McFadden playing at Mile High; he's had several big games there in his career.

Wide Receivers: Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson and Demaryius Thomas. Megatron is Megatron, Andre faces a horrible defense (even though I expect the Texans to lean on the run), and I have to get a piece of that Raiders defense. I considered A.J. Green and may switch him in for Andre.

Tight Ends: Jimmy Graham and Rob Gronkowski. Gronk let my entire lineup down last week, but he has a very strong history against Buffalo. Graham is New Orleans' best weapon.

Kickers: Mason Crosby and Shayne Graham. Home teams that should win and score plenty of points, works for me.
