Phil Dawson tied a record Thursday night, hitting three field goals from 50-plus yards against the Ravens. That’s been done by only six other kickers.
It’s a growing list. Morten Andersen was the first to do it, in 1995. As recently as 2010, only three others had joined him.
But now it’s been done three times in less than a year. Sebastian Janikowski and Josh Scobee did it last year – Scobee also against the Ravens.
